Public Alert Centers

Display Warrants to the public

IMS Public Alert Centers spread the word like nothing else can.

  • Alerts. When a child is abducted, time becomes an enemy. The faster an Amber Alert can get before the public's eye, the better the child's chances are of being located and returned to her family. With the Public Alert Center, law enforcement agents have the ability to publicize a child's image and description within seconds.
  • Warnings. From life-saving weather warnings to warnings of escaped inmates, the IMS Public Alert Center will quickly alert the public of imminent danger.
  • Warrants. When there are no urgent alerts or warnings, law enforcement agencies can make use of their Public Alert Centers by scrolling images and information on those who have warrants for their arrest. One city began putting their open warrants on a screen in a public place, and their warrant closure rate went from 40% to 100%. Most of the "suspects" were decent people who turned themselves in when they saw their face on the screen - they'd had no idea there was a warrant for their arrest!
